Scoutcast is designed for South Africa's film and production industry professionals, including actors, models, directors, cinematographers, crew members, makeup artists, photographers, and service providers.
Is Scoutcast free to use?
Scoutcast offers both free and premium tiers. The free tier includes basic networking and portfolio features. Premium tiers unlock extended post durations, priority visibility, and advanced features.
How do I showcase my work?
You can create a portfolio with headshots, showreels, and project photos. Share community posts to highlight recent work, and build your professional reputation with client ratings.
Can I find work on Scoutcast?
Yes! Scoutcast features casting calls, crew positions, and service opportunities. Set your availability, location, and rates to connect with clients looking for your skills.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption, secure cloud storage, and strict privacy controls. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Every post and profile has a report button. We review all reports within 24 hours and take action against violations of our community guidelines.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the app, or by emailing privacy@scoutcast.app.
Will Scoutcast expand beyond South Africa?
We're starting in South Africa to serve our local film industry. Expansion to other African markets may come in the future based on user demand.
